The value of a questionnaire

Why prepare for your appointment with a questionnaire?

My questionnaire is a short list of the most reliable questionns that can answer to find a healing remedy. I can interview you without filling out a questionnaire, but if you put in a little extra effort to fill out your questionnaire on your own, I will devote more precious time asking you about more difficult issues. Using clues gained from the questionnaire will lead to a more informative interview. I sum, this will bring you a step closer to the curative treatment.

How to use a questionnaire.

You can download the questionnaire here. The ideal number of answers is 8-16. Even three accurate responses to this questionnaire have produced healing results, so the number 8 is not an absolute number.

This questionnaire is simple and short, but for the best results, you should get some help from me. So first, call or come to my clinic. If you cal, you can type directly on that document, or print it out. If you print out the document, then scan your document and email it to me. Questionnaires can also be sent by mail if you are not in a hurry.

A trained homeopath must interpret your questionnaire

However, before considering filling out the questionnaire in hopes that it will be able to select the curative remedy without my guidance, let me warn you that the questionnaire cannot automatically choose a remedy for you.

No matter how you answer the questionnaire, I will have to confirm what each answer means when I talk to you. Always my conversation with you leads to a much broader discussion of your problems. Only a trained homeopath can make use of this questionnaire. Also, the questionnaire is the first step in treatment. The real work of finding a curative remedy involves much more than understanding this questionnaire.

Why ask questions about conditions that seem irrelevant to your chief complaint?

You may think that the questionnaire does not apply to your specific problem. Actually, because homeopathy treats you as a whole person, fundamental information about you can quickly simplify my work. Because we all vary in our reactions to everyday life, your questionnaire answers will narrow the choices that I need to make. This is because this questionnaire is based on a combination of recent statistical research and the genius of those who first developed homeopathy 200 years ago.

Why ask about general reactions that have nothing to do with my problem?

You probably think that the questionnaire does not apply to your problem. Consider this: before you had a problem, you had a body that has some tendencies to react to everyday stress. You adjust to stimulation and change in your life in a way that is characteristic of you. For example, you have reactions to the weather, food, and drink. Sleeping, breathing or digestion also are affected by stress that is a pattern. For the questionnaire, I am interested in reactions that have changed since you had a problem.

Questionnaire produces answers that are like the straight edges of a puzzle.

Those common symptoms of your problem are like the edges of the puzzle. The straight edges of a jigsaw puzzle are usually unrelated to the picture in the center, but they are easy to identify. Once you have the edges put together, the rest of the puzzle is easy.  Don’t you put together the edges first? In the case of the questionnaire that I use, the questions have been selected through statistical research. Research tells me which puzzle pieces (questions) will help me to find the picture of you in the center of the puzzle. To me, you and your illness are the center of your puzzle.  I need enough puzzle pieces to identify you and your problem so that I can find your healing medicine.  Research has shown us that accuracy in answering a short list of questions will more quickly indicate a curative remedy. So, I put together the easily understood parts of your life puzzle-problems first by filling out a questionnaire.

After the questionnaire, I fill in more pieces of your illness puzzle using what you have told me as I evaluate your questionnaire results. In this way, I eliminate the many treatments that will not heal you. This elimination process means that I can focus on the right treatment much more quickly than I could without asking these questions that narrow my choices. By first eliminating possible treatments that will not cure you, it is much easier to find the remedy that will heal your problem.
